Thermo-Shield® Exterior Wall Coats are high-performance, energy-saving, water-based acrylic coatings designed to waterproof and protect exterior walls. Formulated with vacuum ceramic microsphere technology, they form a seamless, flexible membrane that bridges hairline cracks while acting as a highly efficient thermal barrier.
These non-toxic, low-VOC coatings resist UV exposure, weathering, dirt pickup, and harsh chemicals, dramatically reducing thermal shock and sound transmission. With variable permeability, the coating becomes watertight when saturated yet allows trapped moisture vapour to escape when dry—helping reduce condensation and extend substrate life. Thermo-Shield® Exterior Wall Coats outlast conventional paints, reducing the need for frequent repainting, and dry to an attractive matte finish in a wide range of architectural colours.

Surface Prep: Clean, dry surfaces free of dust, grease, rust, efflorescence, and loose paint
Coverage (2 coats): 10.4 m² per gallon @ 150 microns DFT (112 sq ft @ 6 mils)
Dry Time (24°C / 50% RH):
Set: 20 minutes
Recoat: 4 hours
Full cure: 12 hours
Primer: Generally not required (recommended over gypsum board)
Thinning: None required (up to 0.24 L / 1 cup per gallon for spray adjustment only)

Roller or airless spray recommended
Brush for small areas (3 cross-brushed coats required)
