Single Selective Pallet Racking
Single Selective Pallet Racking is an economical and versatile system that can be configured for a variety of uses and product sizes when floor storage is limited. These systems provide easy accessibility to all products at all times. This type of system is commonly used throughout the industry in distribution facilities for bulk storage. Generally, the items stored on the rack are palletized.
-
Double Deep Racking
Double Deep/Deep Reach Pallet Racking is an easy and cost-effective way to increase storage capacity using standard Single Selective Racking components. Using a special Deep Reach forklift, this type of system provides two deep storage capacity and is ideal for multiple SKU applications.
-
Bolted Racking
Easy to ship, install, and replace. Fast — usually in stock and fully interchangeable with welded uprights. Safe — quick replacement restores system integrity. Cost-effective — lower freight, maintenance, and downtime, with up to 30% savings on replacements. Increased capacity and full system flexibility. Available in 13- and 14-gauge, powder-coated or pre-galvanized, with pre-engineered connections and easy accessory integration. Single and double post options.
-
Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Racking
Very Narrow Aisle, also known as VNA, is the use of Single Selective Pallet Racking in a tighter configuration to provide maximum storage density while still allowing maximum selectivity. These systems typically operate in conjunction with wire-guided or rail-guided reach-truck systems. A distinct advantage of narrow aisle pallet racking is fast picking without large aisles.

Mezzanine Storage Platforms
-
Open Web Joist Storage Platform
Modular Open Web Joist mezzanine systems turn unused overhead space into functional floor space cost-effectively. They support easy installation of lighting and sprinklers, and the reflective galvanized deck brightens darker areas.
Each system is custom-designed to meet building codes and customer needs, with modular components that allow future expansion, modification, or relocation. Multiple flooring options are available, along with structural review, stamped drawings, permit assistance, and support for electrical, sprinkler, and HVAC work.
-
Structural Storage Platform
Engineered for strength and flexibility, our structural platforms are ideal for heavy loads and long spans where open web joists (OWJ) aren’t sufficient.
Perfect for maintenance platforms, showroom expansions, and heavy-duty storage, these systems offer multiple flooring options—including roof deck with plywood, checker plate, and bar grating.
All platforms are designed to meet building code requirements and can include guardrails, pivot gates, stairs, and ladder access. Professional Engineer and Architect-stamped drawings are available.
-
Rack-Supported Storage Platform
All of our Storage Platforms can be incorporated with conveyor systems that allow for fast-moving product environments. Similar to pallet racking, Rack Supported Storage systems allow for modification of the pick levels to suit every customer’s needs. Structural review and stamped drawings are available from both a Professional Engineer and Architect.
-
Shelf Supported Storage Platform
Our Shelf Supported Storage Platforms provide a cost-effective, high-density, light-duty product storage system. This type of system is ideal for areas such as archive storage, small parts room, or document storage areas.
By utilizing vertical space, customers can maximize space while maintaining access to the product. Flooring, guardrail, and staircases are similar to the options provided for all storage platforms provided by Space Aid to maintain uniformity of design. Structural review and stamped drawings are available from both a Professional Engineer and an Architect.

Pick Tower
A Pick Tower / Pick Module is a multi-tiered storage system designed to meet two key goals: increase picking efficiency and maximize storage capacity. This type of system is an ideal solution for storage and picking in high-volume environments due to its ability to organize and manage a large variety of products in high volumes. Incorporating Carton Flow, Pallet Flow & Conveyors is common to help increase efficiency and facilitate sorting and packaging before shipping.

Cantilever Racking
-
Single Sided & Double Sided Cantilever Racking
Our cantilever racking systems provide open-front access, making them ideal for storing long, bulky, and oversized materials.
With no vertical obstructions, they improve handling speed and storage flexibility. Standard heights range from 6' to 32', with arm lengths from 18" to 72" and capacities up to 100,000 lbs per column. Custom designs are available.
Ideal for steel, pipes, lumber, and extrusions, these systems support precise inventory control. High-density options with narrow aisles or guided rails maximize space, while entry guards and guide rails enhance safety.
-
Cantilever Racking With Decking
Whether using rod and bar grating or heavy-duty mesh for each shelf level, this type of system serves all the benefits of a conventional cantilever racking system while providing ultimate flexibility for product storage. This universal system can accommodate almost any type of product regardless of weight, length, depth, or height, with the continuous unobstructed shelf level providing optimum storage efficiency. Cantilever Racking with Decking is ideal for customers who have a variety of different products that need to be stored in the same area.
-
Cantilever Racking With Roof
Protect your materials from harsh weather with our outdoor cantilever racking systems. Designed with angled single- or double-sided roofs, they shield products from rain, snow, ice, and UV exposure—while maintaining full front access.
Optional cladded side and back walls provide added protection. Ideal for lumber yards, building supply centers, and outdoor storage yards.
All systems are custom-engineered to meet local building codes, including wind and snow load requirements, and are best installed on a concrete slab. Available in UV-resistant powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized finishes.
