Applications: FillPro Standard Type is particularly suited for specialty applications where standard backer rods are not appropriate. It is ideal for irregular joint applications, especially where self-levelling, flowable sealants are used. It is also recommended for use with sealants where bubbling concerns are critical. This all-purpose backer rod can replace most standard backer rod applications.

Installation:

• Ensure the joint or opening is clean, dry, and free of obstructions.
• Select the proper rod diameter using the sizing chart, cut to length, or use directly from the spool.
• Install the rod uniformly with a blunt instrument or roller at the recommended level by the sealant manufacturer, specifier, or architect.
• Generally, the depth of the joint after backer rod installation is half the width. Adjust for very large or small joints.
• Avoid puncturing, stretching, or over-compression.
