TREMPRO CHEM X PRO Adhesive/Sealant

Description: TREMPRO CHEM X PRO is a single-component, multi-purpose, non-sagging, high-strength hybrid polymer adhesive/sealant. It is designed to bond to a variety of substrates commonly found in manufacturing. This product is solvent and isocyanate-free, offering excellent weather resistance and both adhesive and sealant capabilities.

Basic Uses:

• Durable and flexible with strong adhesion once fully cured.
• Ideal for vehicles, RVs, cargo trailers, semi-trailers, truck bodies, steel tanks, HVAC units, boats, metal buildings, modular construction, cabinets, and more.
• Suitable for metals, plastic, wood, foam, vinyl, drywall, etc.
• Adhesion testing is recommended prior to use.

Colours: Available in Black, Grey, White, and Tan. Some colours and package types may require a minimum order.

Packaging:

• 300 ml (10.1 oz) cartridges
• 600 ml (20 oz) sausages
• Special packaging is available upon request (minimum order requirements apply).

Substrate Preparation:

• Ensure surfaces are free from oil, grease, wax, dust, corrosion, moisture, or any material that may interfere with adhesion.
• Do not use Xylol or MEK on substrates unless they can dry before sealant application.
• Use a dry rag or brush to remove dust, dirt, or other contaminants.

Application:

• Apply with conventional caulking or pressure equipment.
• Do not apply at temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C). The optimum temperature for substrate and sealant is between 59°F (15°C) and 77°F (25°C).
• Avoid using alcohol or alcohol-containing agents for tooling.

Priming:

• Typically adheres to common construction substrates without primers.
• Due to variability in substrate finishes, application-specific testing is recommended to verify the need for a primer.

Clean Up:

• Remove from gun and tools before curing. Clean up excess material with solvents. Cured material may be removed by cutting or abrasion. Observe the manufacturer’s precautions when using toxic flammable solvents.
